You might also want to post in the wireless newsgroup but try configuring
the XP computers so that ad hoc networks are not used by not selecting the
option for this is a computer to computer ad hoc network in networking
properties of the adapter and of course make sure that they are using WEP or
better yet WPA with a preshared key of at least ten characters in length
that contains numbers and letters to prevent access anyhow. The link below
explains more and if the computer are members of a Windows 2003 domain you
can use Group Policy to manage wireless connection configuration. ---
