| Hi There,
|
| I have just recently upgraded from Win 2000 Pro SP4 to Win XP SP 1 (Then
| Upgraded to service pack 2). Since the upgrade my smart card reader does not
| work. The reader looks like it is installed in the Device Manager.
|
| I have a Gem Plus serial smart card reader.
|
| I am getting the following event ID error messages:
|
| Event ID: 201
| Event ID 110
| Event ID:104
|
| Can any one help?

Remove the Smart Card and drivers and the signing software (ActiveCard Gold, NetSign, etc.)
then reinstall all.
Make sure you use WinXP drivers and/or software versions.
