I need to give a user permissions on a folder that contains a number of subfolders and files. I go to the folder's Security tab, add the user, and
assign the permissions. I expected the permissions to propogate to
subfolders and files--in the Advanced dialog, 'Apply To' shows 'This folder,
subfolders and files'.
But the permissions do not propogate to subfolders or files; only the folder
I set gets the new permissions. How do I fix this, so that I can assign a
permission to a folder and to all subfolders and files? Thanks in advice for
your help.
