I would talk to your friend. If he didn't charge you for it then he either
paid for it himself or he has a license for several copies or he installed a
pirated version. You should determine what was installed and why. Personally
I don't like any of the security suites. They tend to have many processes
running in the background and slow your computer down. Trend Micro PC-cillan
antivirus works well. The full suite while not as bloated as the Mcafee or
Norton suites will still slow your computer down. I recommend using one
stand alone antivirus program (almost any besides Norton), one resident
antispyware program (I like Microsoft's or Webroot Spysweeper or Ewido), and
the Microsoft firewall. This will give you good protection without consuming
too many system resources. On my personal pc I am currently using eTrust EZ
Antivirus, Microsoft Antispyware, and the built in Windows firewall.
