If she has XP Home Edition, just boot into Safe Mode where you will now
see the normally hidden Administrator account. Unless you changed it,
the default password is a blank. Log in with that account and go to the
User Accounts applet in Control Panel. You can then remove your
daughter's password entirely.
If you have XP Pro, at the Welcome Screen you can do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice
to get the classic Windows logon box. Type in "Administrator" and the
password for the Administrator account (which will be whatever you used
when you set up the machine).
