I've never seen a NIC that came with a firewall. Post back with a better
description of your computer and what you are trying to do. I suspect
that you just want to turn off a software firewall that is enabled on
the network connection, but without knowing what firewall you have
installed and if that is really what you are trying to do, it is
impossible to give you a specific answer.
