    The expression 'to pay a visit to' is used by Americans, Canadians, Aussies
    and Brits, and in no way implies that payment in cash/personal cheque/credit
    card has to be made or met.. quite why you chose to misinterpret the
    expression baffles me completely.. it happens, I guess, but you didn't
    choose to question what I said.. you chose instead to insult me by calling
    me 'pathetic', and then imply that I am a self appointed MVP..

    Trust me when I say that I don't expect or want an apology from you.. :-)
