If you have XP Home Edition, start the computer in Safe Mode to access
the normally hidden Administrator account. As the computer is starting
up, repeatedly tap the F8 key to get to the menu where you can choose
Safe Mode. Use the arrow keys to navigate the menu, highlight Safe Mode
and press Enter (the mouse will not work here).

The default password for Administrator (if you are asked for one) is a
blank.
