automatic log off

my computer had automatically logged off, causing my aol instant messenger
program to sign off as well. i turned the hibernation enabler off and it
seemed fine. this morning i was away from the computer for about 7 hours.
when i came back, it had automatically logged itself out again. any help
would be greatly appreciated!
