I have tried at least 12 fixes for this, "Cannot start firewall>cannot start
ICS sharing", problem form the technet site and none of them have helped:
multiple netsh commands, vbs script fix, regedit and regsvr32 fixes. . .But,
alas, none of them have fixed anything. The only consistent code I get is a
Shared Access exit code 5, but I know nothing about scripting or how to
remedy this. I have started as many services as I can, but get an error code
#10047 in several spots, and the message,"cannot be started on local
computer" on the same and some others, especially Ipv6 helper service, peer
name resolution. . .. I am using Windows XP Home with SP2 and all of the
updates that I have been made aware of through Updates and Security updates.
And I just did Win XP "repair" from the CD (slipstreamed w/ SP2). Help,
    please!!!!
