remote access

Is there anyway of knowing is someone has used remote access to access my
computer. Someone whom I do not trust was using my computer and now I am
paronoid about it. I have always had do not allow remote access on this
computer and when I was checking today the "allow remote access" was checked.
I have windows xp and also have norton virus and firewall installed not sur
if this would make a difference. Thank you in advance for your reply.
