Cannot remove Windows XP Pro PC from domain

I am running my own home network with a domain controller. The DC
crashed, and I had to reinstall the OS and re-setup AD. I managed to
do so properly. I have two PCs that I regularly use on the domain.
One PC functions perfectly after setting up the domain again. I can
still log in with my old username and password and access the domain
controller without issue.

The other PC cannot connect to the domain. When trying to log in I get
a 'cannot find domain ****' message or similar.

So I thought I would go ahead and remove it from the domain and re-add
it. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be an option!

Even logging in under the local administrator account, when I go into
the System/Network Identity tab, the domain box is greyed out (with the
name of my domain in it, as well as the radio button. I can click on
the workgroup box, but when I type something in and hit ok, it says I
can't change it because the domain cannot be found! The Network ID
button is also greyed out.

I have no idea why these options are unavailable! Is there a way to
force reset this information short of reinstalling the OS from scratch?
