If you have Windows XP Home Edition (probably), just start the computer
in Safe Mode. To do this, repeatedly tap the F8 key as the computer is
starting up. This will give you the menu from which you can choose Safe
Mode (the first entry choice). Now you will see the normally hidden
Administrator account. Log on to it - the default password is a blank.
Once in, go to the User Accounts applet in Control Panel and change the
password for the regular account that you always use to something you
will always remember. Have a stern talk with your son and consider
taking a few computer lessons and/or buying a beginning book (the
"Windows XP For Dummies" is good - ignore the stupid title) so he can't
do this to you again.
