| I run Windows XP Home Edition with SP2 installed. When I am on the internet
| and am entering certain secure locations which require a user name/password -
| SOMETIMES, Internet Explorer asks me if I want to save the user name and
| password in memory. On some occasions in the past I have accepted this.
|
| Now, I would like to clear both the user names and the passwords from my
| memory and I don't know how it is done. I have gone and cleared the
| "autocomplete" files on Internet Explorer - several times in fact - and yet,
| when I attempt to access certain sites, I am still given my User ID and
| password to sign in with.
|
| The Windows box that opens when trying to access a secure site, has a
| picture of keys - and the title of the "box" says "Connect to www.abcdefg.com
| site ---- the box has a pull down menu so I can select one of several ids
| which have been stored - and the "password" is there -
|
| Please help!!!! Thanks.
