Acces Denied too

I have a terrible problem. I uninstalled windows xp professional, and then I
installed it again without formatting the hard drive.
And now, I can´t acces the folder my documents, the message says, "ACCES
DENIED" and I´m going crazy because I have important stuff there and I can´t
acces it.
PLEASE, I NEED HELP!!!!!!
