I've heard that XP sp2 has got a limit on the connections that can be
done without a reply. This is marked as event: 4226 in the event
viewer

In fact this is shoun that IE will not behave well. Pages will not be
found or images will not be loaded.

Altough I agree with microsoft that this was implemented to help worms
not to spread, I think that there should be a method to control the
amount of SYN_SENT that one can have on his system.

Can I edit the registry or there is something else?

Thanks
