I get automatically logged off after x amount of time

How do I stop this?
When I leave my pc on overnight to download large update
files i find that in the morning my user account has been
logged off and my applications and connections have
terminated after various amounts of time. How do I prevent
this? I'm the "administrator" it's a home pc - not networked.
