It's called "Block images and external HTML content" on the Security tab.

It's actually a good idea to leave this blocked, but that's up to you...
Since these images are loading from a server on the Internet, the person who
runs that server could possibly use it to identify you and confirm that you
opened the message. In other words: a spammer could confirm that your email
address is valid.
