Well... after waiting with baited breath for a few weeks for a reply to this
posting, and receiving some pretty useless (but gratefully received) replies
on the same posting on other sections of these notice boards, I have found
why the problem I have listed is happening, but first, a lesson to all of
us.....

Repeat after me:

I (state your name)
Hereby promise to always check Microsofts integrated 'Help And Support'
Before asking questions on Microsoft's notice boards....

As suggested in help and support, when wanting to make a folder private, you
should locate that folder MANUALLY inside the 'documents and settings' on the
C: drive.

It seems that right clicking on my folder and setting the sharing properties
under 'files stored on this computer' after clicking 'my computer' on the
start menu is not sufficient and will cause problems. Have I discovered a
bug?

ARE YOU LISTENING GATES?

Sometimes, one can't see the wood for the trees... ha ha

I would be interested if anyone can replicate this situation on their
machines, any feedback would be welcome.... it might be worth reporting back
to Microsoft.

Big Liam.....
