Cannot undo IE6 'DisablePasswordCaching' in XP
Date: Fri, 24 Sep 2004 07:44:35 -0700
We have added 'DisablePasswordCaching' registry key to
prevent caching the proxy password in IE6 (aacording to
the Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 229940).
But now I have deleted this key (or changed the value to 0)
I cannot cache the password as before..?
This process has worked ok previously on XP/2000 - this is
a new Dell pc with SP1a + various hotfixes (but not SP2).
Any ideas?
