Please help !!

I have an IBM T41p running Window XP Pro. I have recently
rebuild my system using the tools provided by IBM. Before
rebuidling the system, I have backup my files my copying
to an external USB hard-disk, including some encrypted
folders/files.

After I rebuilt the system, I tried to copy the files
back to now like-new system. However, Windows refuse to
copy the file and denied access. The system before and
after rebuild are virtually the same.

This is not the first time I backup encrypted
folders/files before rebuilding a system, yet this is the
only time I have problem.

The encryption was done before the SP2 installation on
the old system, and the new system has SP2 installed.

Any insight and suggestion are welcome. Thanks
