Hi Everyone,
We are seeing flakey connectivity w. 5 pc xp-home network.
SQLAnywhere Server
5.5.05-2509 serving database on 1 machine. Prior to SP2, network was
relatively clean. All machines have SP2 firewall disabled.

The windows network works.

So. Database connections to all machines, possibly server side, are
intermittently dropped. Variably, connection has been re-established
through either manual start or through a delay and normal retrying of
the connection.

I found this in a recent tech republic article published weds 25,
entitled Windows 'XP SP2: What to do when the Windows break':

"There can be server-related problems (when running server functions),
including a failure to recognize or reply to client requests. Look for
problems with IIS and file sharing as well as some Remote Desktop
functions."

-Can anyone refine these suggestions for me please?

- I have posted a similar message in the SQLAny groups.
- Thank you in advance. Justin Carroll
