I'm running Windows XP home edition. I had to reinstall
Windows and during the process, I got an error message in
the last 15 minutes of the installation which went like
this: "unregmp2.exe - Entry point not found. The
procedure entry point SetIUMS counld not be located in
the MSDART.dll"
I went to the newsgroup and did a search; I found a
solution - it worked - EXCELLENT. The installation
completed and Windows restarted, when I got the Windows
Logo screen, I got an error which read something like
this:"isass.exe - not enough memory. Not enough virtual
memory...." I'm not sure what the rest of the message
said cos within a second or so, the system shuts down and
reboots by itself..! I have tried to start in safe mode
as well as all the other "safe" options available, but I
keep getting the same error message. I have also tried
to restart from the last good restore point... nothing.
The system keeps doing exactly the same thing, it loops
over and over again. I tried to interupt the boot
process by pressing shift + F10 - also nothing. I
desperately need to get at the data on my hard disk and
therefore want to explore every option before I consider
a clean itstallation. The situation seems hopeless. Any
assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ziad.
