to "Geoffrey" Re 8/25 Norton Anti Virus not being
recognised by Windows Security Centre (WSC).- Symantec is
aware. It will be fixed in a future Live Update. See link
to their SP2 FAQ's.

In the meantime, I received this advice from Microsoft
Support. "You can configure the WSC by doing this:
1. Click Start/ Control Panel, doubleclick on the new SP2
Security center Icon.
2. Unfold Virus Protection (down Arrows)
3. Click Recommendations.
4. Select the "I have an anti-virus program that I'll
monitor myself"; check box, click okay."
Once Live Update fixes it we should probably uncheck the
box again to be realy secure. "Lilian"
