thank you for your reply as i found it most useful as i
am using windows xp home i was unfortunatly not able to
access the group policies command parameters but have use
the link www.lavasoft.de and used there spyware removal
tool and have since found that it was a program called
smsSPY which was a pain to remove but lavasoft adaware
solved my problem and im now able to access my registry
editor again
