The settings of "My Computer / Properties / Automatic Updates" are probably
set to "Download updates and notify me when they are ready to be installed".
Login as user with local admin privileges and wait a few moments. The icon
in the task bar 's notification area should inform you that your updates are
ready to be installed. Click on the icon and choose install. If you want to
automate this task, you can chose option "Automatically download updates and
install them on the schedule that I specify". This option is also on "My
Computer / Properties / Automatic Updates".
