"Access is denied" to Documents copied from former boot drive

Check out the properties tab for the FOLDER(S) in question.

Since it is a permissions issue, you will have to alter
the permissions.

Not sure if you are using XPPro or Home. If using XPPro,
alter the permissions by TAKING OWNERSHIP of the FOLDER.
Then give yourself FULL CONTROL Permissions.

XPHome is a little more tricky for me but I would say try
one of the following:

1) Share the FOLDER.
2) Look for a box in the FOLDER properties that says MAKE
THIS FOLDER PRIVATE and uncheck the box.

Post back with your OS and update us with your progress.
