How do you know that it is a "hacker"? Many computers have a hidden
partition for system files backup, and that hidden partition is recreated if
you use the manufacturers recommended method of reinstallation. If you
purchase a retail box version of WinXP, delete all partitions, and make the
entire drive a single active partition, then the hacker will have to have
Administrative privileges to adjust the partitions, and even then he would
have to install software to dynamically adjust partitions, and if he
installed a flavor of Linux then you would have a LILO bootloader and you
would know that linux was installed. I suspect that you are not being
"hacked", but perhaps the hidden partition you are seeing is deliberate and
normal in your circumstance. Since you gave no information about the brand
of computer nor the method you have used to re-install windows, there is no
way for a third party to make a determination as to whether or not you are
being "Hacked".
