xp access denied

I recently joined a domain from a work group but now can
not access things like mscongig among others things on my
xp machine. I have set my self up as admin account but no
success. When using other computers these features are
available to me on them so it just seems to be a problem
witrh the local security on this pc.

Can anyone help?
