Windows XP Logon

I loaned a winxp pro machine to a client and upon return
I have the logon screen to log on to the local machine.
Problem is that I cannot remember any local user account
password. Is there a way to get around this? I have tried
starting with different startup options but I keep
getting back to the log on screen.
