Are you running XP Home or Pro?

For Pro, click Start, Run and enter CMD then press Enter. When the Command Prompt window opens, enter:

NET USER /?

This will give you the command line options for the NET USER command.

Additionally, you can go to Start, Run and enter LUSRMGR.MSC Open the Local Users folder and you can delete the account from there.

To delete the users Documents and Settings Folder, you may need to Take Ownership.

See Help and Support and search for "take ownership"

For XP Home, LUSRMGR.MSC does not exist, but the NET USER command should work.
