Currently, I am running XP Home. I thought F8 would
provide me a menu to go to Safe mode, but I am not
successful. The folder located in the 2nd partition and
that is formated as NTFS. Partition 1 (the OS drive) and
    Partition 3 is FAT32.

How to get to Sate Mode as Windows 2000 Prof? Originally,
there is no "Administrator" account. Do you mean the
    first unrestricted user I created?

Sharing cannot be disabled. However, you can get the
Security tab by booting into Safe Mode and logging in on
    the built in Administrator account.

    formatted, not FAT32.
