I have a removable USB hard drive that is normaly connected to my laptop (winxp home). My user profile is on one of the 4 partitions on that drive. Right now my laptop isn't working, and I moved the drive over to my desktop which is running XP Pro, but I can't access the files in that directory. I have spent almost 2 weeks messing around with user, group, and security settings, with NO luck. It doesn't matter if I log in as a user or as the administrator, it always tells me f:\documents and settings\%myusername% is not accessible. Access is denied. What do I have to do to gain access to this directory? (My account name and password are the same for both computers, and I have administrator privelages on both computers.)
