I probably changed it. When I get prompted for the
administrator password in the rcovery console, it won't
accept a blank or any pswd I may have used. Any way to
get past that? I used a program called erd commander,
which boots into a windows like o/s and lets me change
the administrator password, but when I run the windows
recovery console, it won't take the new password.

it since you installed, or purchased your system, just
leave the password prompt blank.
