That those worms were present indicates your PC is or was open to
them; they rely on unpatched RPC code in order to enter the system, as
well as the absence of a firewall to block access to the defect.

So you need to:
  - get off all networks
  - clean these viruses all over again
  - turn on the firewall (or install a 3rd-party firewall)
  - clean and protect the rest of your LAN as above
  - reconnect to Internet
  - pull down patches required to fix the defective code

Without an effective (preferably formal) virus scan, you may find
attempts to run a firewall, antivirus or apply patches will fail.
That's because several malware defend themselves against such risks.

Don't forget that Stinger only looks for about 50 or so malware, out
of several thousand that are in the wild. They are a good mix to look
for, being common, but still it's like swotting a day's worth of
"spots" to prepare for a final exam that culminates a 3-year course.
