Virtual Machine security patch

Good day all,

My security software warned me that there's a
vulnerability in the MS Virtual Machine. Someone suggest
i should install the following patch:

It seems that this patch is for Windows2000. My PC is
running Windows XP. Is this patch also applicable to XP???
