Thanks for your help GTS,

However the problem I am experiencing is not related to "enter / reenter"
password. I know what your talking about and that can be fixed numerous
ways. The sharer has guest/everyone access enabled and both the directory
and printer permissions are set to allow guest/everyone. With this setup
you wont get a enter user / password. Again the shared directory works if
your connecting using "net use". The problem is I cant connect to the
shared printer. I also cannot browse to the computer using the "view
workgroup computers". I can see the computer using "view workgroup
computers" but any attempt to connect yields a "access denied".
