    I use Cableone.net, as it's the local broadband provider, where I
live. (I've more than enough bad experiences with Qwest's ability to
manage a telephone network, so I'm not eager to try their DSL
network.)

    I'd recommend that you look in your local telephone book's yellow
pages, under Internet Services, to find a local ISP who meets your
needs and price range. Avoid the national services, such as
Earthlink, if possible, as the bigger the company, the worst the
quality of customer service.
