The version is XP Pro and includes SP1. This was a fresh install and not an
upgrade, and the file system being used is NTFS.
The system puts a check mark in the Read Only attribute. When you remove the
check mark, it seems to accept the instruction, but the check mark reappears
when you into Properties again. An error message comes up when you try to
rename the folder.
