Domains are generally used for large networks. To create a domain, you need to setup a Primary Domain Controller. You will also need to setup DNS (Domain Name System) somewhere in your network, as well. I would recommend keeping your network as a workgroup though. It is pretty pointless going through all of this trouble just for one or two clients on the network. However, if you are interested in learning more about Windows 2000 Server, try picking up this book: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?userid=pi62RuvbxP&isbn=0764503413&itm=1

You can play with Windows 2003 Server for free without destroying your network!
