 I appreciate your help... as for "CareyFrisch" he seemd
more dismissive then helpful; maybe I was overly sensitive
because I am frustrated w/ this mysterious file. Anyway...
 
Perflib_Perfdata_488 is a file in my
documents&settings/temp folder which seems to be
active/running (as I cannot delete it, nor can Norton
Antivirus scan it) It is new; I have not seen it before,
yet it always gives a creation date of the last time I
started my computer... ANY help is appreciated.
