Go to Start | Control Panel | Network Connections. Right-click your network
connection and remove the Client Services for NetWare from there. I assume
you don't need it?

You probably can't. If I recall correctly that means that your computer
hardware doesn't support the automatic powerdown - must be a relatively
old computer.
