If you decide to install again and it hangs in the setup at 20 to 27 minutes
do the folowing below . this will at least get yu to the desktop.

If the installation stops after the first boot with 27 minutes left then
reboot the computer and at about 30 minutes,( before it goes to loading hard
ware drivers) press shift F-10.

at the c: Prompt type taskmgr and click on the processes tab. End task on
the SVChosts. There might be just 1 or more than 1.If there is more then 1
then end both of them

This will prompt you to load just basic drivers manually. It will ask for
each device.. This will get the computer to XP...KEY WORD load ONLY drivers
you need to get to the desktop.
