RE: Blocked senders list not being saved

Hi,

I understand that blocked senders list is not being saved in Outlook
Express.

Please try these steps and check if it resolves the issue:

Take a backup of Outlook Express data. The following article helps you to
perform backup.

Note: WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems
that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry
Editor can be solved. Use registry Editor at your own risk.

1. Close Outlook Express.

2. Click Start -> Run, type "regedit" (Without the quotation marks) and
click OK.

3. Click the "+" to expand the following registry folder:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{CLSID} (for example,
{54C2C558-8AD9-4791-9D7B-E1372A2E23A3})\Software\Microsoft\Outlook
Express\5.0\Block Senders

4. Delete the Mails and News sub-folders.

NOTE: You may only have the Mails folder.

5. Re-open the Outlook Express and block senders again.

Now check if the issue is resolved.

Ive been getting a lot of viruse's lately. My 3 virus scanners get them
before they arrive, however, I think something got thru and now my blocked
senders list in outlook express is not being saved. It will save it for
that session only, but when I come back to outlook express, its no there.

Can anyone out there give me a recomendation? Thanks.
