Read Only Box

ok... i can not change the Read Only box in the
properties of ANY folder, i checked the user accounts and
there is only 1 main account (the administrator). No
matter what the heck i do i cannot change the friggin
read only thingy. I cant install an expansion to a game i
got and it has been giving me other problems when trying
to install using windows installer (error 1607). I have
tried to do some of the stuff it says on different help
sites... but doesnt work.

I have NOOOO clue what is going on and it is always on
the edge of my mind and pissing me off... hope you can
help!
