How do I delete a folder using the command prompt?

The reason for this is because I want to create a batch file to delete users "temporary internet files" folder
while they are logged off at night.
So far when I try to delete it in the command prompt, itll ask me "Are you sure (Y/N)?"
after I answer it, the folder and files within still remain.

can anyone help me?

Thank you
