lost files in XP

I recently had to reinstall XP professional because of a
virus. Now some files I saved in a profile I had is gone
and secondly the files that were saved I encrypted it
before sending it to the computer shop, now it can only
be opened from the lost profile. Can anyone help me
pleaseeee
