Dear all,
We are currently running an NT4 domain, and are moving to a Windows 2000 server / XP client infrastructure, using Active Directory.

We have various Off the Shelf products using SQL Authentication.
Can this username and password be stored in active directory?
Assuming you can, do we have to bespoke an app to shell these third party products with the user/pwd obtained from AD?
Will this be covered by Kerberos authentication?

Sorry if you feel this is an ill advised question to be asking...

Many thanks in advance.
Andy
