Isass.exe - System Error

I had to restore my registry by copying and deleting
files but after that was all typed and done when my
computer begain to reboot, it showed the Windows startup
screen but this error message poped up "Lsass,exe,"
or "Isass.exe-System Error" occurs i am not sure which
one it is beause i could not tell on the screen if "I"
was an [ I ] or if it was [ l ] but in any case this is
what i am dealing with now on a Toshiba Satellite
upgraded from Win ME to Win XP.
