I have a small office running a Windows NT 4 domain with printers, etc on the domain. My son's computer has XP home edition, for the compatability feature. I have a tape drive and Veritas Backup Exec 7.3 on an NT4 server in the domain. I have tried to backup his computer to the tape with Backup exec with no luck. I have spent lots of time making separate logins for my son and myself as Administrator. I have shared the C drive and exposed it. No matter what I do, most of his computer is hidden from the outside, and the only thing Backup Exec can see is a built in default share where the computer wants his personal files to be.
Is it possible to access and back up the complete C drive? If so, how do I do that?
Thank you.
